UHPC – what yesterday seemed impossible, can be done today

Ultra High Performance Concrete is currently most advanced technology of concrete based materials. In comparation with GFRC weaknesses are removed and improved ductility, load carrying capacity, resilience to different chemicals and frost, thus improving durability, life span and usability in different applications.

Holcim has developed own UHPC recipe, which is offered to the market under brand Ductal. When used in system of ventilated facade, Ductal makes it possible, what cannot be done with other materials. Extraordinary properties of this material enables it to be used and makes it possible to do in many other construction applications, resolving serious problems for architects, investors and contractors:
